Guidelines
Please see the descriptions of past grants in order to get a sense of the type of work we support. Our grants in the past have ranged from $500 to $25,000.
Grants that have the following characteristics will be favored:
- Benefits many young women (20 or more)
- Benefits young women of differing ability levels in math and science (i.e. not just "star" students)
- Benefits young women who have limited access to high-quality math or science related education
- Is structured in a way particularly suitable for young women
- Makes math or science more approachable and accessible to young women
- Uses funds efficiently
All grants recipients are required to sign an agreement prior to receiving any Foundation funds. Under this agreement, the grantee has certain obligations (for example related to reporting how Foundation funds were spent, and providing a general report at the end of the program).
